Next Meeting: June 17th , 6:30-8:30 pm, Speaker: Byron Shen 

A.R.T. presents Abstract painter Byron Shen. An amazing painter known for his emotionally charged and moving landscapes and outstanding one of a kind works of art; former OVAC Board member, Head of Visual Arts Department and Holliman Gallery Coordinator, recipient of many awards, originally from Hong Kong, we are privileged to welcome Byron Shen with a rare speaking engagement for ART. **Our May Speaker, Marcus Cotti, will be rescheduled since we cancelled due to weather, and here’s an even better surprise… COTTI is opening a studio in Tulsa and holding workshops. More info later.

Everyone is welcome to bring a piece or two of your ART to show and share at our meetings! We love it!!!! (MUST BE appropriate for show, no nudes).

AUG 6-29 NORTHEASTERN STATE UNIVERSITY SHOW OCTOBER 5 UTICA SQUARE SHOW NOVEMBER 5-23 TCC SHOW More details and critical exhibit information available online at www.alpharhotau.com Entry forms available online and at next meeting on June 17. *Due to some problems with entries at our last show, please read the critical information carefully and submit your entries accordingly. No changes can be made to the entries once turned in; no substitutions for other art work or change of names. All entries must be carefully submitted, with all information printed clearly and no changes can be made after turned in.

HOSPITALITY 

June Helpers: “Table Decorator” Nancy Swindler. “Cookie Angels” Linda Monks, Hannelore Ramanayake, L. Ellen Morehouse, Nancy Swindler.

“Decorators” plan on arriving a little early (6:15), so we can set up the table for all our “Angels” . “Cookie Angels,” please remember that we need 3 dozen sweets (brownies, mini muffins, cookies, or any treat of your choice) for the meeting. THANK YOU! We appreciate everyone who signed up to help! We can’t do it without you important, very special and wonderful people!!!

CHEER
