We will meet at the TCC SE campus on 20 October 2014.

Next General Meeting is October 20, 2014 at Tulsa Community College

The next meeting of Alpha Rho Tau will be held at 6:30 Monday evening, October 20^th, at the Tulsa Community College (TCC) Southeast Campus at 10300 East 81^st St. South.  The meeting will be in the student union building one floor below where our annual art exhibit takes place.  It will be in the Chat Room.

See attachment 1 for additional driving directions.

The CHAT room at the TCC student center will be our location for October only.

You can also look forward to a great presentation by representatives of the Philbrook Museum. They will talk about their 75^th Anniversary and other opportunities and events at Philbrook. This is a good time for them because they do have a lot going on right now and they are looking forward to sharing this with us. 

From the Treasurer:

It is time to pay your DUES in the amount of $25 for the upcoming year.  Remember that dues must be paid before you are eligible to enter any of the exciting 2015 exhibits that our show chairman has planned and has in the works.

Also the deadline for entry to the biggest and best of the year, our 9^th Annual All Members Show at TCC is October 20.  Please take time to fill out your entry form at home where you have no pressure and then make a copy of it.  We try each show to cut out as many errors as possible.  Make sure your handwriting is legible.  Careful printing is best.  Make sure you TCC 9^th Annual Members’ Show

know which paintings you plan to exhibit and have the price on it that you want on the tag for the show.  THERE WILL BE NO CHANGES MADE AFTER YOUR ENTRY HAS BEEN SUBMITTED.  It is your responsibility to make sure your entry is correct and readable.  It is my responsibility to get proofreaders to check my work. I recommend that you mail your entry.  Any entry postmarked by midnight of the 20^th will be accepted.  Mail to:

You will find a notice and entry form attached to this newsletter.  Also don't forget to attach the required information to the back of your painting when you bring it to be hung at the show.

October Hospitality News

Thank you! We appreciate all the members who signed up to be “Cookie Angels” and “Table-Scape Decorators!!”

If you are an “Angel,” please remember that we need 3 dozen sweets (brownies, mini muffins, cookies, or any treat of your choice) for the meeting.  “Decorators” plan on arriving a little early (6:15), so we can set up the table for all our “Angels” and members.

Special 2015 ART Show

Alpha Rho Tau has a special exhibition planned in the Tulsa, Brady Arts District in early 2015. This will be a First Friday Show, so get your 2015 membership dues paid ASAP... more details to follow. Pay your dues before 31 Dec 2014, to our treasurer Byrene Culver.
