Thank you! We appreciate all the members who signed up to be “Cookie Angels” and “Table-Scape Decorators!!” If you are an “Angel,” please remember that we need 3 dozen sweets (brownies, mini muffins, cookies, or any treat of your choice) for the meeting.  “Decorators” plan on arriving a little early (6:15), so we can set up the table for all our “Angels” and members. Our July 20th meeting “Decorator” will be Karin Cermak and our “Angels” are:  Mary Oswald, Janie Crean and Ida Mae Sells. Thanks again and we’ll see you at our July meeting!
Our president Karin Cermak would like to thank all who helped set up and take down the chairs and tables from last meeting.  We especially need some of our men artist to aid in this each month.  Special thanks to those who were there for this! Please come 30 minutes early to help with set up.  This is very important to have people volunteer.

Our Presenter this meeting will be the award winning artist, Kelli Folsom from Oklahoma City.   Ms Folsom has received numerous awards including most recently:  2015 "Pueblo Pottery with Chinese Lanterns" Southwest Art Magazine Award of Excellence at the Weekend in the West Show at Evergreen Fine Art Gallery, CO. 2014 American Art Collector Magazine's Award of Excellence, 17th Annual Juried Exhibition, American Women Artists, Addison Gallery, Orleans, MA2013 Finalist, The Artist's Magazine, 30th Annual Art Competition.
Last year Kelli did a series of "Thirty Sunrises in Thirty Days", which was turned into a book and televised by OETA on the program, “Gallery.”  This summer she is doing a series called "Chasing the Light", where she paints the same scene at six different times during the day, capturing different light and moods in each piece.

Don’t miss the chance to learn from this nationally acclaimed artist and see her work!

The door prize for June is a Print of a painting by Richard Coones. The winner will be drawn after the program is completed.  You must be present to win.
