Kudos to our new Web Wizard, Bill Oswald!  He worked his magic on our website and it is fabulous.

Our website, AlphaRhoTau.com, has a new look and new functionality for 2012.  The site may also still be accessed with the TulsaArtClub.com address. http://www.alpharhotau.com/index.html

On our website the monthly newsletter and information about shows and exhibits in the local area are now featured as regular blog entries in the column on the right side of the page.  Many of these entries invite you to click to read more detail and some contain links to documents with more information such as exhibit information sheets and entry forms.  Older posts can be accessed from the Blog Archive and Categories menus located on the lower left of the screen.

First Annual A.R.T. Fest

Alpha Rho Tau will hold a Fine Art Show at the Tulsa Art Center from Friday, May 4th to Saturday, May 5th.   Like Utica Square, all participating members will need to volunteer one hour during the time the show is open.

Members may submit up to three paintings: framed originals or giclees’.  There will be a $10.00 fee for each entry with a size limit of no more than 20 x 24, including the frame. There will be no commission taken at this show.

Richard Coones - One Man Show

Northeastern State University in Broken Arrow is hosting a one-man show of the work of our own Richard Coones.  Congratulations Richard!

The show runs from February 1st to 27th, 2012 in the Administration Building at 3100 E. New Orleans in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

Richard and other Alpha Rho Tau members attended the opening reception on Thursday evening, February 2.

Arti Gras Open House

The Artist Palette Studio/Gallery is hosting an open house "Arti Gras" Saturday, February 18, 2012 from 11 AM till 4 PM at the Fontana Shopping Center, 5021 B & C in Tulsa.  The event includes the work of Alpha Rho Tau members Cindy Parsons, Joyce Sandifer, Glenda Moon and Karen Cermak.


The open house includes studio tours and light refreshment.  Paintings are for sale!
