Next General Meeting is November 21, 2011

Our next General Meeting will be held November 21, 2011.  The meeting will begin at 6:30 PM at the Hardesty Regional Library, 8316 E. 93rd St., Tulsa, OK 74133. Voting for officers (President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer) will be conducted at this meeting. Additional information on the election of officers can be found in Articles VI and VII of the ART By-laws.  The By-Laws are in your ART Membership Book.

Our guest speaker is Cindy Parson. The title of her presentation is "Right-Brain Thinking and Creativity".  She will give us a simple explanation of right-brain function and then we will do some exercises that increase that function.  Cindy said we will need to bring a pencil and a sketch pad or something we can draw on in our laps. We will need about 5 or 6 sheets of paper. Any size will do, but 5x7 or 9x12 is perfect.
Memberships

It is now time to RENEW membership for 2012.  Memberships are again $25.00 a year.  Name tags get Green Dots this year and we already have 21 renewals.

2011 has been a very busy year.  I have found being Treasurer for Alpha Rho Tau very challenging and also very enjoyable, since it has allowed me to become better acquainted with all of you!!

You can still send your checks, reservations and e-mails to me, Mary Oswald, thru Dec.

Big hugs to our October Cookie Angels: Ida Mae Sells, Joyce Sandifer, Glenda Moon and Shelly DePriest. Special thanks to Joyce for decorating our table with her potted purple mum.

November’s Cookie Angels are Roberta Henley, Carol Mulcare, Robin Hutchings, and Phyllis Snyder.  Please bring 3 dozen sweets, of your choice, to our meeting. It would be a big help if you could come a little early, so we can arrange the goodies on the table.  Our November decorator is Glena Moon.

Thanks to all of you!
