                                  ALPHA RHO TAU MEMBERS MEETING

SEPTEMBER 19, 2022 


Please join us at the Alpha Rho Tau Member Meeting at 6:30 p.m. on September 19, 2022. The meeting will take place in Frossard Auditorium of the Hardesty Library at 96th and Memorial. Our presenter will be Carlene Wallace who will demonstrate her beautiful pet portraits painted in oil

And mark your calendars for our October 17, 2022 meeting where our traditional "Art Swap" will take place. Bring a work of your choosing to give away and  then take away another member's wonderful artwork!

September 19 is the final deadline to register to show your work at the Alpha Rho Tau booth at Art in the Square, Utica Square, October 1, 2022.

Member’s Art Event Saturday, October 1st, 2022

Festival (hours) 10:00am to 5pm

A.R.T. will have a Booth space (on the grassy area) as before with an opportunity to share your art. As usual, no commission will be charged as we make sales on our member’s behalf. Artists are responsible for filing taxes on sold artwork.

This is an A.R.T “SMALL WORKS ART BOOTH” and you are invited to enter up to three of your small works. The maximum size of the canvas must be 9”x 12” or smaller. Unframed Gallery Wrap canvases are also welcome.

To enter: You may pick up or Email our entry form found online to: artz@alpharhotau.org / Hand in your completed, paid entry form at our monthly meetings on 9/19 … or you may mail it with a check to; Barbara Glass, 3612 S. Braden Pl. Tulsa, OK 74135 before 9/19.

Entry Fees: One for $10 / Two for $15 / or enter three pieces for $20. No refunds.

No saw-tooth hangers allowed. All artwork must have a secure wire across the back. Please attach your Name, ph#, title, and price on the back of each piece. To be eligible to enter this event you must be a member in good standing.

Entry Deadline___Monday, Sept. 19

Because art shows take a lot of work, we ask each Artist to volunteer in some capacity during this fun, one-day Art Festival. Volunteers are needed for Booth set-up & take-down, Hang art or handle Art sales. We are also looking for artists to paint “en-Plein-air” nearby. A Volunteer Schedule will be available at members' meetings. Please contact Ken Brown to volunteer in advance or ask for a particular time slot.

Art Festival Timeline

Set up will begin at approx. 7AM: tents> Display panels> lights> Begin hanging art at @ 8:30AM

Deliver Artwork to Utica Square: Saturday, Oct. 1, 8:30am to 9:30am

Pickup unsold works: Saturday, Oct. 1, 5:00 to 5:30pm Take down begins at 5:30pm to load the A.R.T. Exhibits trailer.
