The next meeting of Alpha Rho Tau will be
held at 6:30 Monday evening, September 15th, at the Hardesty
Regional Library, 8316 E. 93rd St., Tulsa .
Everyone really
enjoyed our August speaker, Richard Coones, amazing presentation of
techniques for graphic arts and his creation series.
You can look forward to a great program at
our September Membership Meeting. A.R.T. program presenter will be Ross
Myers, native to Oklahoma , who graduated
with a BA degree in Fine Arts from the University of Tulsa Oklahoma Colorado ,
Arizona , Texas ,
and Oklahoma
Through the years many of our members have
taken art lessons from Ross.
Utica Square Show- Deadline for entry
forms for the “Art in the Square” at Utica Square is September 15th.
Please mail your entries if possible before that deadline. People who
mail their entries have fewer errors because they take the time to read the
instructions carefully, print clearly and have a clear idea of the amount they
wish on the tag. Please help me to do away with errors for our shows. We

you! We appreciate all the members who signed up to be “Cookie Angels” and
“Table-Scape Decorators!!”
If you are an “Angel,” please remember that we need 3
dozen sweets (brownies, mini muffins, cookies, or any treat of your choice)
for the meeting. “Decorators” plan on arriving a little early (6:15), so
we can set up the table for all our “Angels” and members.
Our Sept. 15th meeting “Decorator” will be Phyllis Snyder
and our Sept. “Angels” are: Sister Eugenia Brown, Joanne Greene and
Emma Nichols.

Meeting
October 20, 2014, will be our
October membership meeting at TCC Southeast Campus at 10300 East 81st
St. South. The meeting will be one floor below where our annual
art exhibit takes place. It will be in the Chat Room.

into ART members’ show at TCC.
Now it’s time to get
ready for our Annual Members’ Show at TCC! This is a wonderful opportunity for
our club to showcase the terrific artwork of ART. This show will hang all
of November, and we need every member to participate! The information
sheet and entry forms are attached to this newsletter. The deadline for
entry is October 20th and you can mail your entry prior to that to
Byrene Culver. Byrene's address is 8006 S. 75th E. Avenue, Tulsa

The Oklahoma Fall
Arts Institute at Quartz Mountain is now enrolling students for fall classes
held over four day weekends. Classes are offered on a variety of art
