Congratulations to Loretta Bialy for winning Nancy Swindler’s floral and Delores Wadsworth for winning Roses by Nancy Hill. Jim Reynolds won the bonus raffle prize; a terrific easel donated by Greg Motto. The framing of our door prizes is by Jacque Gonzales, courtesy of Ziegler’s. Next General Meeting is July 16, 2012
The next meeting of Alpha Rho Tau will be held at 6:30 Monday evening, July 16th at the Hardesty Regional Library, 8316 E. 93rd St., Tulsa.
We will be meeting in the Pecan Room on Monday, July 16th. Just take a right after you enter the library and you will see the Pecan Room. If you are sharing one of your new paintings, please remember we have only a short time to discuss it.
Everyone really enjoyed June’s speaker, Jesse Ghere-feather; her wonderful paintings and amazing scrimshaw! The July speaker will be Jim Roaix from Tahlequah, Ok. The title of his presentation will be "Breathing Life into Stone". Jim is a versatile artist; a painter, a sculptor in wood, soapstone, and alabaster, and a jewelry maker. He will exhibit several small pieces of sculpture and describe the circumstances which brought him to stone and explain his relationship to it.

If you are an “Angel,” please remember that we need 3 dozen sweets (brownies, mini muffins, cookies, or any treat of your choice) for the meeting. “Decorators” plan on arriving a little early (6:15), so we can set up the table for all our “Angels” and members. Our July 16th meeting “Decorator” will be Sandi Willhite and our July “Angels” are: Richard Coones, Ida Mae Sells, Sandi Willhite and Cindy Crowley.
