We are so blessed to have wonderful members like Nancy Swindler! Her amazing donation of $500.00 to the scholarship fund will enable us to offer two scholarships to deserving art students.

Door Prizes

Congratulations to Loretta Bialy for winning Nancy Swindler’s floral and Delores Wadsworth for winning Roses by Nancy Hill. Jim Reynolds won the bonus raffle prize; a terrific easel donated by Greg Motto. The framing of our door prizes is by Jacque Gonzales, courtesy of Ziegler’s. Our door prizes for July are a darling country church by Delores Wadsworth and a delightful rooster by Joyce Peace. Be sure to sign in for your winning chance!

Next General Meeting is July 16, 2012

The next meeting of Alpha Rho Tau will be held at 6:30 Monday evening, July 16th at the Hardesty Regional Library, 8316 E. 93rd St., Tulsa.

We will be meeting in the Pecan Room on Monday, July 16th. Just take a right after you enter the library and you will see the Pecan Room. If you are sharing one of your new paintings, please remember we have only a short time to discuss it.

Member Art Shows In July

Alpha Rho Tau members are very busy with shows and exhibitions this month!

Sharon Allred, July 5 - 31st with opening reception Thursday, July 5th

Sharon Allred has an exhibition of her work this month at the Dennis R. Neill Equality Center located at 621 E. 4th Street in Downtown Tulsa. The exhibit opens Thursday, July 5th with an artist reception from 6 - 9 PM. The reception includes food, wine and a door prize of her art.

Karin Cermak, July 2 - 31st with opening reception Saturday, July 7th

Karin has three paintings included in the Muskogee Art Guild Show at the Canebrake Resort, 33241 East 732nd Rd., Wagoner from July 2 - 31st, 2012. The reception will be held at the Resort
on July 7th, 2012 from 3 PM to 5 PM. Everyone is welcome to meet the artists at the beautiful resort at the lake.
