On March 14, at 5:30 PM, Mayor Bartlett, community leaders and art enthusiasts, will celebrate the reopening of the Art Center.
The civic art organizations in Tulsa have been asked to display works of art in the Waterworks Art Center especially for the re-opening. Alpha Rho Tau will be represented via art by Dolores Creekmore and Janie Crean.
With its renovation and expansion now complete, WaterWorks is a great resource for bringing outstanding visual fine arts experiences and classes to people of all ages, skill sets and interests.
Located in Newblock Park, just west of BOK Center, the Center offers 6,000 sq. ft. of newly-expanded and renovated classrooms that accommodate a great number of classes and workshops ranging from Oil Painting, Watercolor, and Pastels, to Pottery & Clay Sculpture, Fiber Arts, Metalsmithing, Italian Mosaics, Jewelry making, and other media.
